Dr. Adam Manfrin is an associate dentist at Reliance Dental, registered with the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta (CDSA). He brings a unique blend of advanced training, diverse clinical experience, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Education and Advanced Training
Dr. Manfrin earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Alberta, one of Canada’s leading dental schools. He then completed a hospital-based residency at Tufts University in Boston, where he received specialized training in special needs dentistry and hospital dentistry.
He is also trained in nitrous oxide and oral sedation, allowing him to help anxious patients feel calm and comfortable during their dental visits.
Clinical Experience
Dr. Manfrin has extensive experience providing dental care in a variety of settings. He has worked in remote Indigenous communities, where he performed complex and comprehensive treatment including:
- Root canal therapy
- Dentures and prosthetics
- Oral surgery procedures
This experience has given him the skills to handle a wide range of dental needs, from routine care to more complex cases.

Before pursuing dentistry, Dr. Manfrin earned a background in engineering. His interest in innovation and technology led him to research bone regeneration technology, giving him a unique scientific perspective on dental implant and restorative treatments.
Outside the Office
When he is not caring for patients, Dr. Manfrin enjoys staying active outdoors. He loves fishing, hiking, and traveling. He also has a creative side, making soap in his spare time. Dr. Manfrin looks forward to meeting new patients and becoming part of the Edmonton community.
